Fireplace stove Salerno
The stove will appear for the first time at the Building Fair in Brno!
HAAS+SOHN brings the first “real” 4 kW fireplace stove on the market
Mainly thanks to a special chamber design with an external air supply, the stove allows heating in the desired output range of 2-4 kW. An optimal adaptation to the real thermal need prevents from overrating and subsequent "overheating" of the space, saving energy and emissions. With external air supply (CPV), the stove can be also operated independently on the room air which guarantees a hygienic environment where oxygen is not consumed excessively, and the natural exchange of air also ensures CO2 tolerable limit emissions.
Performance of fireplace stoves should always focus on real needs of the heated space; if it be to the contrary, the heater is working inefficiently and thus uncleanly and expensively. Overrated stoves in the heated area are continuously operated with a reduced supply of combustion air to avoid the room overheating. In fact, due to the excessive combustion chamber and inadequate air supply, this leads to incomplete combustion, higher fuel consumption and considerable contamination of the glass. Thanks to the furnace special design and external supply of combustion air, this new model reduces the power level achieved at commercially available products by 20%. Therefore, the stove transmits less heat but permanently when keeping optimal combustion conditions – precisely as required by low energy buildings. For users this means less fuel consumption, less cleaning, more comfort and a great contribution to the environment.
With its output of 2-4 kW, the fireplace stove Salerno is optimally rated for thermal needs of the average area of 40-50 square meters – for example, a combination of the open kitchen and living room. In this case, the required output for low energy buildings varies between 1.5 and 3.5 kW. A fireplace stove or fireplace insert with a nominal output of 5 kW, therefore, transmits automatically more heat which uselessly burden both the building and its users.
“Injection air intake” allows “real” 4 kW
Achieving the nominal output of 4 kW at the fireplace stove Salerno is particularly enabled due to a special design of the tertiary air supply with a new injection technology. Regarding the secondary air supply, Salerno is additionally equipped with another specially designed injection intake of air entering the combustion chamber directly into flames. Only this air facilitates a controllable as well as perfect and efficient combustion even with the smallest flames.
Compact construction, timeless design
The fireplace stove Salerno impresses with its compact construction and timeless design. Manufactured in dimensions of approximately 50 x 40 cm (width x depth) and height of 98 cm, it fits into any space. When connecting the external air supply (CPV), the stove can utilize the combustion air from outside areas.
